Part-Time Assistant to CEO (Practical Nurse Qualification Required)

Location: Portmore, Jamaica

Department: Executive Office / Childcare Division

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are seeking a dynamic and caring individual with a practical nursing qualification to serve as the Part-Time Assistant to the CEO. This role requires someone who is energetic, patient, and capable of supervising children independently while assisting with administrative and operational tasks.

Key Functions Include:

  • Supervise children safely and independently.
  • Assist the CEO with administrative and creative tasks.
  • Distribute flyers and promote the facility in schools.
  • Open to work in any division when assigned
  • Provide first aid and care when needed.
  • Support social media and marketing activities.
  • Use AI tools (like ChatGPT) for productivity and creativity.

Education & Experience:

  • Practical Nursing qualification (required).
  • Experience in childcare, nursing, or similar fields.
  • Excellent communication and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or basic digital tools is a plus.

Part-Time Tutors (Basic, Primary & High School Levels)

Location: St. Catherine, Jamaica (Remote & In-Person)

Department: Tutoring & Prep School Divisions

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer (COO – Head of Tutoring & Prep School Divisions) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are seeking qualified, passionate, and results-driven tutors who genuinely love teaching and are flexible to scheduling needs. This role is ideal for individuals who are encouraging, professional, and adaptable to both virtual and face-to-face learning environments.

Key Functions Include:

  • Tutor students at the basic, primary, and high school levels.
  • Prepare structured and engaging lesson plans.
  • Deliver interactive and supportive tutoring sessions.
  • Assist Head Teacher/Educator in the classroom.
  • Write on the board as well as mark books/learning material & tests.
  • Record virtual tutoring sessions.
  • Take attendance
  • Make sure classroom is conducive for learning
  • Monitor student progress and remain results-oriented.
  • Maintain punctuality, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Encourage confidence and motivation in students.
  • Be open to feedback and additional tasks.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 CXC subjects including Mathematics & English (Grades 1–2).
  • Prior tutoring experience required.
  • Aged 18–35 years.
  • Flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends.
  • Excellent communication and professionalism.
  • Dependable, organized, and student-focused.
  • Uses initative.

Grade 1 Teacher

Location: Portmore, Jamaica (In-Person)

Department: Prep School Division

Reports To: Principal / Chief Operations Officer (COO – Head of Tutoring & Prep School Divisions) & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and results-driven Grade 1 Teacher committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of children aged 6–7 years.

Key Functions Include:

  • Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the MOE National Standards Curriculum.
  • Teach Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Life Skills.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom.
  • Monitor emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Conduct assessments and prepare progress reports.
  • Maintain communication with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in meetings, events, and professional development.
  • Uphold MOE Code of Ethics and school policies.
  • Maintain JTC registration and regulatory compliance.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) OR Bachelor’s degree with teacher training.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with JTC.
  • Early Childhood or Primary certification is an asset.
  • Strong classroom management and child-centered teaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
